Evaluation

InCAS and Annual Report

Since 2007 primary schools have been introducing InCAS and the Annual Report to parents. Ongoing research and evaluation has been carried out throughout this time by CCEA’s Research and Statistics Unit. This involves and will continue to involve consultation with all the relevant key stakeholders (Principals, teachers, parents and pupils) and educational professionals (including Educational Psychologists, Education and Library Board Officers and teacher training colleges).

Research and evaluation has also focused on the inclusiveness of the new assessment and reporting arrangements for pupils from the Irish Medium sector, pupils with English as an Additional Language and Special Educational Needs pupils.

Evaluation reports will be published on this website as they become available.

We would like to thank all our contributors for the invaluable feedback which has shaped the implementation of InCAS and the Annual Report.
